Mr Stallon Poman is from Tambul in Western Highlands Province, PNG. He was diagnosed with Hemiplegia, which is complete paralysis on one side of the body. This caused many problems for his father. The patient is only 11 years old and cannot do anything to help his family, which makes his father very worried and sad. This condition has deeply affected his father’s life. He wishes to thank PNGDSF for any help and support given to his son during this hard time.

Anna Konz Kulu is a 15-year-old girl with a permanent leg disability. Her leg cannot move back and forth properly. She went to the hospital for an operation, but sadly, the operation did not go well. Now, fluid keeps coming out from the sore on her leg because of the failed surgery. Anna also has trouble eating. She can’t swallow food easily and has to push it down her throat using her hand. She will soon turn 16. Her father is a Catholic priest who is having a hard time seeing his daughter suffer like this. He struggles every day to care for her and support her in her pain and health condition.

Ms Biyang Wangi from Lower Tambul, Western Highlands Province, has been suffering for nearly 2 years due to a condition called paraplegia, which has left her unable to use her legs. She now uses her hands to crawl. Her daily survival is a struggle, and she cannot enjoy a normal life.
